OUR HAY REPORT

Here’s your scoop from our hay expert.

First cutting

Timothy hay

Our 2025 first-cut Timothy hay is coarser than in previous years, with a lighter green color. What does this mean for your pets? The fiber content is higher, and the natural sweetness is lower. Higher fiber supports better digestion and dental health, but the reduced sweetness may make it slightly less appealing in taste.
